PRESS RELEASE

Mid-Columbia Businesses Involved in Community Outreach: Locally, Regionally, Nationally

Pasco, WA – October 31, 2008 – In what is quickly becoming a tradition, Vivid Learning Systems (OTC:VVDLE) supported the Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia’s (DSAMC) 2nd Annual Buddy Walk. Over 950 participants braved the cold winds to show their support.  The community raised a record breaking $40,000 that will support local DSAMC programs such as Kadlec New Parent Baskets, the DSAMC Quarterly Lecture Series and the DSAMC Playgroup.

“Vivid Learning Systems has been an instrumental supporter of DSAMC since its start. From creating the DSAMC logo to donating the cost of hosting the DSAMC website to participating as a Silver Sponsor of the Buddy Walk, Vivid has been greatly involved in many different aspects of DSAMC and its Buddy Walk.” Aaron Jensen, DSAMC, Co-Founder

On a regional level, Imageworks has been involved with The Martinez Foundation for several months and was invited to celebrate at the “Keys for Success” gala presented by Edgar and Hollie Martinez.  This is the same Edgar Martinez that was a star designated hitter for the Seattle Mariners. In addition to supporting the development of the Foundation’s website, Imageworks also contributed to the Foundation’s scholarship fund.

“We believe that everyone deserves a good education and feel strongly about supporting organizations that further this cause. We fully support scholarship programs aimed at rewarding hard working students and providing them with opportunities they may not otherwise receive. Success benefits the entire community.” Rachael Drouhard, Senior Account Executive, Imageworks.

To help celebrate the season and give back to a national charity, company employees recently threw a Halloween costume party.  Everyone that attended put a lot of creative effort into making a costume.  All proceeds raised by the party went to the March of Dimes.

“Any excuse to hang out with friends and dress up for Halloween is alright with me.  The fact that this also helped the March of Dimes made it that much more fun.” Ben Watson, Interactive Designer, Imageworks.
