Vivid Learning Systems is putting stimulus dollars to work
July 10, 2009 – Vivid Learning Systems (OTC:VVDL) recently expanded the HGET classroom from a capacity of 20 to 50 computers.
This was done as there was an increased need for online HGET training in order to support all the new hires needed in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
Original hours for the classroom were from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The classroom is now open from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and will stay open until midnight depending on the demand.
VVDL has hired three new authentications in order to support the new capacity and hours of the classroom.
Prior to the ARRA the average student headcount was approximately 66 a week. Since the ARRA went into effect, weekly student counts have increased to an average of 142.
