Giving back this year at Christmas
December 17, 2009 – The team at Imageworks and Vivid Learning Systems has much to be thankful for this holiday season. Having experienced growth in the midst of a severe economic downturn, the company wanted to spread the warmth of the holidays and encourage the spirit of giving in our community.
Partnering with Catholic Family and Child Services, Imageworks and Vivid Learning Systems were able to adopt a local family for the holidays. This project allows organizations throughout the Tri-Cities to support families in the area with food and gifts for Christmas. Catholic Family and Child Services, a charitable organization, sponsors this community project each year and as our team discovered, has a truly inspiring impact on all those involved.
After receiving a list of Christmas wishes from our family, the crew at Vivid Learning Systems went straight to work. Household items, winter clothing, stockings filled to the brim, and other holiday gifts began pouring into employee offices. Delivering the gifts just in time for Christmas, our team was greeted with a family teaming with joy and thanks.
We are fortunate to be able to make Christmas a little brighter for a family in our community and help share the warmth during this season of giving. This year will hold a special place in all of our hearts and we encourage you to find the true meaning of Christmas, we certainly did.
